Hi everyone. I have JAWS 5.0 and have just downloaded LimeWire because that's what my mom has on her computer and I hear it is good. But I haven't had any luck in using it with JAWS. (The rest of my family don't use JAWS.) I've been trying to look for something about JAWS being accessible with LimeWire but haven't found anything. So do y'all know if LimeWire is accessible at all or how to make it accessible? If not, do y'all know of any other free places/programs to get popular music that are accessible? Thanks.

OK. Another Zoner just recommended Win MX, which I now just downloaded as well as the scripts for it. It works pretty good in that I can read the dialog boxes, I can't actually use Win MX itself (the JAWS keystrokes that are supposed to be available don't work). How do you download all the JAWS scripts from the Zipped folder to the place where they should be in JAWS? The readme file says to install everything in the JAWS thing but I don't know how to do that other than when I try to open a JAWS file and the computer itself doesn't recognize it. Otherwise pressing enter on a file will just open it. So how do you store the files in JAWS manually?

Tinkerbell,
If you have winzip, do the following.
1. open the zip file of jaws scripts by hitting enter on it. if winzip is installed, it should pop up.
2. Hit shift e for extract.
3. tab to "extract to" combo box.
4. arrow down to your hard drive, and open it with right arrow.
5. find the jaws folder by hitting j. open it with right arrow.
6. Navigate to the settings folder and open it with right arrow.
7. navigate to the enu folder and open it right right arrow.
8. tab to the "extract" button and activate it with space bar. the scripts will now be in the jaws settings enu folder. that is where all script files, until jaws 6.0, reside.

But if you're using windows xp however, you can just right click on the zipped folder and choose extract all, and do the same steps blake just menchoned above.
